# FRC 7589 Lishan blue magpie

## **Our Story**
FRC Team 7589, Lishan Blue Magpie, was founded in 2018 by four teachers at Taipei Municipal Lishan High School: physics teacher Chialong Chin, computer science teacher Hsin-Yi Ho, and English teachers Shuhan Chang and Chaoying Tu. The team began when Hsin-Yi Ho encouraged members of the school’s computer science club to participate in the Taipei City ICT Application Competition. After discovering three students with a strong interest in robotics, he invited them to take on a bigger challenge—and Lishan Blue Magpie was born.
The team started with just a few passionate students but quickly grew. Today, Lishan Blue Magpie consists of nearly 40 students from Lishan High School and nearby schools. Out team is mentored by teachers, alumni, and industry professionals, and supported by a growing network of nearly 100 alumni. Together, we continue to carry forward the spirit of innovation and collaboration that launched our journey.
